Richard and wife Pat are both lifetime residents of Brevard. He played football and was on the track team at
Brevard High and is still a devoted Blue Devil fan. He is a family man and he and Pat have six children and nineteen grandchildren.He has many interests ,including water and snowskiing,golf,fishing,watching football, chess and riding moto cross. He was in the Marine Corps where he joined as an enlisted man and was later commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant. He commanded an infantry rifle platoon in Viet Nam where he was promoted to 1st Lieutenant and later was honorably discharged as a Captain.He is a graduate of Blue Ridge Community College with an Associates Degree in Industrial Engineering. As a lifelong resident, he is very aware of all that the area has to offer.Richard enjoys helping people pursue their real estate goals whether they are buying or selling.
